Meeting new people should feel safe.
WiZMe is built so you decide who can see you, who can talk to you, and what they know. Here's exactly how.
You're invisible by default
Nobody sees you until you tap Go up. Stop, or let the timer run out, and you disappear.
Your exact location stays private
It is never shared with other users. They see roughly how far away you are, nothing more.
No ad tracking
We don't sell your data or follow you across other apps and sites for ads.
No cold messages
Chat opens only after you both YUP. Nobody can message you first.
Block and report in one tap
From any profile or chat. Reporting someone also blocks them.
Delete your data
Settings → Delete account removes your profile and content. You can also email us.
Real people
WiZMe is for real people: every profile has a photo and a name, and you can block or report anyone in one tap. A verified badge based on a short face-liveness check is in development; until it ships, no profile carries the badge.
Who can use it
WiZMe is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create a profile.
What we collect, and what we don't
- We collect: your sign-in email (Apple's "Hide My Email" relay is fine), name, profile photo, approximate location while you're up, and the messages and plans you create.
- We don't: sell your data, track you across other apps and sites for ads, or share your exact location with anyone.
- Service providers: we use Google Firebase to run sign-in, storage and notifications.
The full legal version is in the Privacy Policy.
Meeting in person: a few simple habits
- Meet somewhere public and busy the first time, like a café.
- Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting.
- Keep chatting in WiZMe until you're comfortable.
- Trust your gut. Leave if anything feels off, then block and report.
Something wrong?
Use Report on the person's profile or chat in the app. For anything else, email support@wizme.life. If you're in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
