Frequently asked
How does WiZMe find people nearby?
When you go “Open,” WiZMe uses Bluetooth and approximate location to detect other Open users around you. Your exact location is never shared, and discovery uses a rotating temporary token — not your identity.
Why can’t I message someone yet?
Chat unlocks only after a mutual connection: you both reach out. This keeps conversations wanted on both sides. Once it’s mutual, the conversation opens automatically.
Which permissions does WiZMe need, and why?
Bluetooth and location for nearby discovery, camera and photos for your profile picture and verification, and notifications for connections and messages. You can manage all of these in iOS Settings → WiZMe.
How do I block or report someone?
Open the person’s profile or conversation and tap Block or Report. Blocks are immediate.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or email support@wizme.life. Deletion removes your profile and associated content.
